Our service revolves around our support workers who provide dedicated one-to one support to our users. For a description of the role and the skills and qualities required please see Support Worker.

While experience of working with people with learning disabilities is an advantage it is not essential as training will be provided.

Support workers provide a day support service working 31 hours per week Monday to Friday. There is no week-end or shift working involved.

Salary ranges:-
Relief support workers - £7.95 per hour.
Support workers - £8.05 to £8.53 per hour with associated competitive terms and conditions.

We recognise the importance of having well motivated staff and ensure that an ongoing high level of support and supervision is provided along with appropriate training.
